TECTUS MultiPEN | ATEX Zone 2/22 RFID/NFC Reader

€1,062.00

The TECTUS MultiPEN is a compact ATEX Zone 2/22-certified RFID/NFC handheld reader that combines LF, HF, and UHF in a single device — eliminating the need for separate readers per tag standard. Its pen-style form factor and small reading tip access tags in tight spots, while a real-time clock, 1,000-UID memory, OLED display, and Bluetooth/USB connectivity make it equally suited to maintenance, inventory, guard control, and logistics workflows.

Description

The TECTUS MultiPEN is a handheld RFID/NFC reader designed for use in ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas, combining three frequency bands — LF (125–135 kHz), HF/NFC (13.56 MHz), and UHF (860–920 MHz) — in a single, compact pen-style device. This triple-frequency capability replaces what would normally require three separate readers, letting operators on industrial sites scan virtually any passive RFID tag standard with one piece of equipment. The MultiPEN’s small reading tip and short-range design (1–3 cm) make it ideal for reading tags mounted close together, behind obstacles, or in tight enclosures where larger readers won’t fit.

Beyond its triple-frequency core, the MultiPEN is built for real-world industrial workflows. A 1,000-UID internal memory and integrated real-time clock allow operators to work offline — every scan is automatically timestamped and stored, then synced to a host system later via Bluetooth (HID or SPP profile) or USB. An OLED display, vibration feedback, and anti-collision support make scanning fast and confirmable, even with gloves or in noisy environments. With its 125 g weight, IP54 rating, -20°C to +60°C operating range, and integrated Li-Ion battery, the MultiPEN is purpose-built for maintenance rounds, inventory audits, guard control, and asset tracking on refineries, chemical sites, offshore platforms, and other Zone 2-classified facilities.

Features
