TECTUS is a German manufacturer specializing in RFID technology for industrial and hazardous-area applications. Unlike RFID specialists that focus on a single frequency range, TECTUS develops across the full RFID spectrum — LF (Low Frequency), HF/NFC, and UHF — covering everything from near-field communication to long-range UHF identification. This breadth is captured in products like the TECTUS MultiPEN, a mobile multi-frequency reader that automatically detects which frequency a tag is being read on, eliminating the need for multiple devices on the same site.

Across its catalogue, TECTUS supplies a wide portfolio of RFID transponders, cards and labels, fixed and handheld readers, RFID reader modules for OEM integration, and antennas — many available in ATEX/IECEx-certified versions for hazardous environments. The company also develops customer-specific TAGs through its TECTUS PEAK Collection, designed for the most demanding applications and extreme environments. TECTUS holds all ATEX and IECEx approvals for Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22, and every product is labelled with the prescribed certification markings.
