Ident-Ex 02 | Mobile Wireless 1D/2D Code Reader

The innovative, lightweight, and wireless Ident-Ex 02 barcode reader and scanner is the world’s smallest device of its kind for Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 as well as Class I and II / Division 1 and 2.

Description

The device is a compact and lightweight barcode scanner available in four configurations: Pocket, Grip, Grip+, and Smart Grip.

The Pocket version functions as a standalone portable scanner. Grip and Grip+ add an ergonomic trigger handle, with optional magnetic charging. Grip+ (HMI version) also supports in-zone charging via the S3/S4 interface of the VisuNet GXP and FLX.

Grip and Grip+ can be upgraded to Smart Grip by attaching a cradle that integrates a Smart-Ex device (Smart-Ex 03 or Smart-Ex 203).

All variants support USB-C charging and are available with either a Flex Range (up to 10 m) or Long Range (up to 25 m) scan engine powered by Honeywell. Grip+ is available in Flex Range only.

The Pocket version is fixed, while Grip and Grip+ can be converted to and from Smart Grip as required.
