Cygnus 1 Ex: Advanced Intrinsically Safe Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

The Cygnus 1 Ex weighs only 1 kg including battery and is built with a durable IP67-rated casing for harsh environments. It has a 3.5” color display that remains readable in direct sunlight and offers up to 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge. The gauge supports Single-Echo, Echo-Echo, and Multiple-Echo modes with a measurement range in steel from 0.8 mm to 250 mm, depending on the probe.

Accuracy is ±0.1 mm or 0.1% of the reading, with selectable resolutions down to 0.01 mm. It operates between 0°C and +50°C, stores up to 10,000 measurements and A-scans, and connects to Windows devices via Bluetooth using Cyglink software for data analysis and reporting.
