Overview

The P-Ex OTR opis MC Series converts inherently safe optical signals between copper and fiber or between different fiber modes (multi ↔ single).

Compliant with DIN EN 60079-28, the devices can be used in Mining (Ma), Gas (Ga), and Dust (Da) applications, including Zone 0/22 / Zone 1/21 / Zone 2/22 environments.

A redundant 10–30 V DC power input ensures continuous operation, while LED indicators provide instant feedback for power, RX loss, and TX fault.

The rugged aluminum housing (104 × 29 × 114 mm) with shock-resistant dual DIN-rail mounts makes installation straightforward in industrial cabinets or explosion-proof enclosures.

Each unit is designed to withstand harsh temperatures from -40 °C to +80 °C and humidity up to 90 % (non-condensing).
