The IS945.2 is a rugged, explosion-proof Windows tablet designed for use in hazardous areas (ATEX Zone 2/22). Built on the same proven 10.1-inch hardware platform as its Zone 1/21 sibling, the IS945.1, it delivers full Windows 11 IoT Enterprise for Arm64 performance in a housing certified for less demanding hazardous-area classifications — ideal for perimeter zones, refinery boundaries, and other Zone 2/22 industrial environments

Description

Purpose-built for ATEX Zone 2/22 hazardous areas, the IS945.2 features the same 10.1-inch Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3rd generation display as its Zone 1/21 sibling — 1200 × 1920 resolution and glove-usable — delivering clear visuals for maintenance documentation, inspection workflows, and productivity apps in perimeter and low-frequency-exposure zones.

It runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise for Arm64, powered by a Qualcomm® QCM6490 octa-core processor with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, expandable via microSD. The tablet supports 4G LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 for seamless connectivity, along with full multi-GNSS positioning (GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, A-Glonass, BeiDou, Galileo), a 12 MP autofocus rear camera, and a 5 MP fixed-focus front camera for documentation and video calling.

With an IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, and a replaceable 8,160 mAh battery, the IS945.2 withstands water, dust, drops, and extreme temperatures from -20°C to +55°C — reliable across refinery perimeter areas, warehouse Zone 2 classifications, chemical plant boundary zones, and other applications where a Zone 2/22 tablet is the right specification.
